Brooklands Micro is a consultant-led microbiology and infection prevention consultancy based in Sheffield. We provide independent clinical advice, IPC support and built-environment infection control expertise to healthcare organisations across the UK.Our work combines consultant microbiology, antimicrobial stewardship, data-driven audit, and specialist insight into ventilation, water safety and new hospital design.Brooklands Micro is led by Dr Chris Lynch, Consultant Microbiologist, with specialist experience in healthcare ventilation, quality improvement, and infection control in the built environment.AMS services are delivered by our co-director Avril Lynch, an antimicrobial pharmacist, with extensive experience in guideline writing, policy review and stewardship audit.
